Over the past year or so I’ve got the chance to know Clayton King pretty well. I remember the first time I talked to Clayton on the phone, he challenged me.
Clayton is passionate about seeing men in the ministry make it for the long run. He shared with me a lot of statistics about how men in the ministry are having to call it quits with their ministry due to secret lives they are living that involve sexual immorality and several other sins that disqualify men from being ministers.
So he challenged me with this. He made it clear that ministers are on the platform and that they undergo serious scrutiny and serious spiritual warfare, because the enemy knows that if they can destroy ministers, they can destroy movements.
Plain and simple, Clayton is the real deal. I love him. He’s been around to give me some pretty solid advice about the ministry. He’s been there…and he’s still going strong. Dude logs all kinds of hours on the road preaching the Gospel and witnessing people all over the country dedicate their lives to Christ and committing themselves to the ministry. I love hearing about it. He sacrifices a lot, because he’s passionate about ministry.
It’s an inspiration.
I say all of that to say this, check him out. God’s using this dude to make incredible kingdom impact.
