Honor and Hospitality.

“Love must be sincere.  Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.  Be devoted to one another in love.  Honor one another above yourselves.  Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.  Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.  Share with the Lord’s people who are in need.  Practice hospitality.”  - Romans 12:9-13

This is a bit of Scripture that CR has been ingraining in our heads since we got here.  I let it resonate in my head today and tried digest what it was really saying. 

What stuck out to me was the concept of honor and hospitality.  So, I guess the questions I’m asking myself right now are these:

How do you truly honor one another in everyday life?  

And…

How do you truly show hospitality to everyone in everything you do?

I like wrestling with questions like these….they stretch me.  I want to learn how to not just love someone, but actually show honor to them.  I want to learn how to not just welcome someone, but show them true hospitality.
